What changed. What period it covers.

Authentic photographs, named creators, and clear data labels. Every image has a traceable source and a proportional display.
Photography
Article images come from the original publisher; vehicle and company imagery comes from the named manufacturer, company, agency, or credited photographer. Official source imagery remains its owner’s material and is used to identify the subject of linked editorial coverage. This is not a claim of a Creative Commons license or an endorsement. Related company media is labeled when it does not depict the reported event. No outside photo is presented as Nat Keith equipment.

Data & editorial sources
Interstate atlas
The Market Pulse map uses Census cartographic state boundaries and the TIGERweb Interstate layer, filtered to route type I and the contiguous U.S. Both layers share NAD83 / Conus Albers projection. Geometry is simplified for display; no live traffic, routing restrictions, or state-level freight prices are inferred. Geography checked October 28, 2026.
Market charts
DAT bars use collected monthly public press-release observations spanning 2021–2026. Missing months stay missing. Fuel-inclusive and linehaul-only observations are not mixed. Rejection bars use individually dated public article snapshots, not annual averages or a complete SONAR history. Every observation links to its source. January 2026 flatbed has a disclosed source inconsistency.
Driver pay & job desk
State means and medians are from May 2025 BLS OEWS, SOC 53-3032. The map covers 50 states and D.C.; freight-type wage splits are unavailable. The geographic SVG is adapted from Heitordp’s CC0 U.S. map, recolored for wages. Employer job postings are a dated sample; 25 source links are a search directory, not connected feeds. Official employer logos remain their owners’ trademarks and carry source credits in posting details.
Business case studies
Primary corporate announcements are separate from Nat Keith’s educational analysis. Announced deals are not treated as completed, and hypothetical route-fit risks are not presented as established findings about an employer.
Efficiency comparisons
2025 EPA combined MPG, with exact powertrains, from the EPA Fuel Economy Guide. Five-model editorial comparisons are not exhaustive national rankings. Plug-in hybrids and EVs are excluded from the MPG tables.
Safety
Use the official NHTSA and IIHS rating authorities. Results remain separate, with the year and test conditions attached.
News & analysis
Each news item links to the publisher and credits a named author or the corporate release. Short summaries are written in our own words; our interpretation is labeled. News and current benchmarks checked October 27, 2026; historical reference dates remain attached to their records. The official-source watch has a separate refresh endpoint; news stories and market charts remain curated, dated snapshots.
Intro sequence
Original procedural web animation: five stylized black vehicles, staggered headlights, an orange overhead glow, a camera orbit, departure haze, and a logo reveal. It is a concept sequence rather than a photorealistic commercial video. The approved Group logo is supplied from the company’s branding assets.
